Jyro Blade

Jyro Blade (any pronouns) is a game developer based out of Brooklyn, New York. Jyro has extensive experience in the game industry from product to development. He has been Product Lead at PlayFi and BattleFly, acted as Senior Engineer on AimLabs and led development for the award winning titles Killer Queen and Kleptocrat at BumbleBear Games. Jyro also creates a spectrum of unique artwork for commercial clients, with a focus on interactive installation pieces and educational content.
Jyro is an active member of the largest NYC game developer collective GUMBO. There he helps run a wide variety of events including educational initiatives with local schools, collaborations with various companies and government organizations, and exchange programs with similar collectives around the world.

Yiyi Zhang

Yiyi (she, her, pronounced ee-ee) is a community organizer, artist, and human rights lawyer based in Brooklyn, NY.

She is currently the PR + Community Manager at Heart Machine, an LA-based game studio best known for Hyper Light Drifter and Solar Ash. She is also on the Board of Directors of GUMBO Collective (NYC’s largest collective of indie game developers) and is the Vice President of Arcade Commons (a non-profit building indie arcade cabinets). She also founded Women in Games NYC, a professional networking meetup group for women / femme people in the industry.
In her free time, she does graphic design and event logistics for Qweerty Gamers and moonlights as an attorney helping asylum seekers and refugees gain safety and status in the United States.
